Sail Around the World Part-Time
The myth is that people sail off around the world never to return cruising the year round. The truth is that cruising is a part of the year past-time because cyclone and hurricane seasons. In this talk, the Slow Boat Sailing Podcast host, Linus Wilson, talks about how and why it is preferable to circle the globe in two to six-month increments. He sails an Island Packet 31’ sailboat out of New Orleans with his wife and 6-year-old daughter. His boat is currently in the island of Hiva Oa, in the Marquesas islands of French Polynesia.
